ANG LINGKOD NG PANGINOON- ALABANG SPORTS NIGHT

Noong una ayoko talaga sumama, kasi hindi ako marunong mag laro ng badminton, table tennis at kung ano ano pang sports. Wala talaga akong alam na laruin, maliban sa chinese garter na natutumba pa ako at sa jack stones na lagi akong nandadaya..

Noong araw na ding iyong nakareceive ako ng text, “sports night with a twist” daw ang tema, nak ng..ayaw pa aminin kung ano yung twist, ayoko ng sinusupresa ehh… LALO AKO NATAKOT PUMUNTA. Pero wala na, hindi na pwede bawiin ang “OO” ko. Sa 5th floor ng Starmall, Alabang ginawa ang event. At nalaman ko na ang “twist”, HUNGER-GAMES style ang pag lalaro namin. Merong:

• districts
• tributes
• flags

Ito ang TWIST. BAWAL MAG HIWA-HIWALAY ANG MAG KAKAGRUPO. Ang bawat grupo ay meron lamang  1 oras at 30 minuto upang talunin ang lahat ng kalabang distrito sa larong badminton at table tennis. 4 ang nabuong distrito. Ibig sabihin, 3 puntos sa bawat laro dapat. At magkalayo ang court ng Badminton at Table Tennis. Yun ang twist. Paano mananalo ng hindi ng hihiwalay?

Ito ang mga pagsubok:

1. manalo sa badminton (double players)
2. manalo sa table tennis (single players)
3. gumawa ng orihinal na pangalan ng distrito
4. ipakita ang TEAM SPIRIT sa pamamagitan ng pag gawa ng orihinal na hiyaw ng grupo, orihinal na bandila ng grupo, at kung ano ano pa
5. gumawa ng DISTRICT DIRECTORY
6. sayawin at i-lipsync ang kantang mabubunot ng lider

Nailagay ako sa District 1, na pinangalanan naming MASKARA. Bakit MASKARA? Kasi ang bawat isa sa amin ay may mga sariling maskara na kung saan nakatago ang totoong pagkatao namin, ang totoong damdamin namin, kung sino ba talaga kami, at sa tulong ng Lingkod, ng mga Kapatid at mga Kaibigan, ito’y matatanggal. Kami’y haharap sa kanila ng buo, totoo at walang halong pag-aalinlangan na ipakita ang totoong kami. *OHA!*

Habang naglalaro ang mga kagrupo ko, kasi nga hindi ako marunong maglaro, nanguna na ako sa pag gawa ng bandila, at district directory. Ano ang district directory? nalagay ang mga panagalan namin at mga inpormasyon gusto naming malaman ng ibang tao, dahil nga MASKARA ang pangalan ng distrito namin, MASKARA ang design namin, na nilagyan namin ng kanya-kanyang personalidad na gusto namin mabago o maipakita. *TADAAHHH*

At ang huling pagsubok, ilip sync ang mabubunot na kanta ng lider namin. MMMBOP ng Hanson. WOW HUH?? Paano un? hahaha. BAHALA NA! Ayun, puro tawa at kanya kanyang galaw nalang sa choreo.. BAHALA NA.. hahaha. Masaya naman! Puro tawa.. :D

puro draft ulit lahat ng ginawa ko… hindi maka buo ng BUO eh. Labo labo pa rin mga kwento, kwentong buhay ko lang naman un.. Basta labo labo, kasi labo ng buhay ko talaga…

I have discovered how to travel through time, relatively speaking. Well, hindi pa. Pero may theory na ako: Tebeau’s theory of time travelling. 

Kanina habang naglelecture kami sa Chemistry about thermodynamics, the professor was talking about absolute zero (that’s 0 Kelvin, or -273.15 Celsius.) So ganito ‘yon; absolute 0 is “the perfect ice”. You cannot go below than absolute 0. And it also says na all atoms, molecules, cells, everything that is in motion stops at absolute 0. 

So, ito naisip ko.

Flash freeze a person to absolute zero, stopping his metabolism pero still not killing him. Suspended animation, kumbaga. 

What happens when you flash freeze a person to absolute zero? Parang sa biology, lyophilization; Dry-freezing cells to make them dormant, unable to metabolize until needed again. So, parang gano’n na din yung person. Dormant, unable to metabolize (that means he stops aging physically) Pero not exactly dead. Gets niyo? Parang patutulugin natin ang buong katawan ng tao, then by the time he wakes up years later, his age is still the same since natulog siya. 

Bakit kailangan absolute zero ang temperature? Because anything lower than absolute zero, you’re not stopping anything from moving. Entropy is still big. It’s like refrigerating food; you’re just slowing down the rotting process. So, hindi pwede. 

Hindi ka ba magkakaroon ng hypothermia? Hindi, kasi you get hypothermia because your body is feeling really cold. Flash freezing means being frozen in an instant, parang flash ng camera. So your body won’t notice na it’s being frozen, kasi by the time na absolute 0 na yung katawan, “dormant” na ang body. Get’s niyo?

Stop metabolism pero still alive = stop aging. Yan ang point ko.

Seriously guys, this is a fucking breakthrough. And I’m going to be famous for this, maghintay lang kayo. *evil laugh*

Pero, there’s just one problem: No one has achieved absolute zero. Yet.

Hi! I saw this post and made me think… I’m a huge metaphysics and microbiology fan and here’s my own opinion… I hope you guys won’t get offended… >___<

Flash Freezing IS POSSIBLE.. Now, here’s the only problem, the whole preservation thingy via Flash Freezing would only work if you have something called Flash Thawing… Flash Freezing, yes, possible, but thawing someone without a HUGE CHANCE of killing him is impossible… You see, in cryo-genetics, once you freeze someone, it’s already difficult to thaw him…

1. Hypothermia
2. Generation of bacterium
3. Neural Reprocessing

Unless you find a way to INSTANTLY THAW someone, regaining back from Flash Freezing is impossible… Here’s another dilemma:

Thawing someone naturally would take DAYS and even WEEKS… Especially when it reaches the ABSOLUTE ZERO TEMPERATURE… Getting back to the normal body temperature from the zero temperature would naturally take weeks and once changes reach the absolute zero temperature, SOME cells would start up again resulting in malfunction in the body system since NOT ALL organs or NOT ALL CELLS would be functioning right away AFTER the absolute zero temperature… It’s like ROTTING ALIVE…

Hypothermia will affect the body in the thawing process… Now, this will only affect the body once BRAIN CELLS are unconsciously start to get active… Why? Cause even tho Hypothermia affects the body from the outside, once it affects the central nervous system, the body will get worse…

Generation of Bacterium… Cells inside the body, who start to get active before the others, will die in a matter of minutes… Now this will only happen once the body reaches a certain temperature… Is it possible that some cells are active even tho you’re still unconscious after you start to thaw from flash freezing? YES… Now, cells would start first before organs can work properly… The problem is, the body wont be able to secrete or release dead cells yet cause technically the body is still in PRESERVED MODE until fully thawed…

Neural Reprocessing… Now, the best example of this are people who go insane after a traumatizing event or someone who just lost his or her memories and gaining them back… Just imagine a Pentium 2 from the 90’s, preserved, and turned back on in 2012… Yes, it will still work… But, considering the changes within the body, the brain won’t be able to work as well as it worked before… I just called it Neural reprocessing cause I forgot the exact term for it… Technically speaking, yes, it’s ok, the body will still work, but not in its full potential anymore…

Simply saying, I would agree on the idea of Flash Freezing… But the only problem is the aftermath effects… Reaching the ABSOLUTE ZERO temperature is already a problem, what more if you wanna reverse it?… You can’t just place someone in an OVEN and wait for him to come alive… The body would break down…

So there… Well, that’s just my opinion tho, don’t take it personally… :D
